Kamala Harris Takes on Ciham’s Case: ODS Official Statement

We have spoken to Senator Kamala Harris’s office and they have said that they are going to do “all they can for Ciham”. Finally, the 8 year American political silence around Ciham's case has ended. This would never have been possible without everyone who changed their profile picture, posted a picture and tirelessly commented, tagged & called in. Thank you to every single one of you!

This is an incredibly important win, but it’s just a first step. We have Senator Harris’ commitment, but Ciham needs her consistent support and more political allies and she can only get that if we are persistent and many. We really hope this win reminds you of our immense power and what we can accomplish when we come together. This is only the beginning, we only stop when our dear sister Ciham is free.
